HobbyTown with Donnie

Donnie wanted to get his new Pokemon game which just came out. I drove him to Green Bay Game Stop in Bay Park Square Mall. I suggested we get some supper and watch Doctor Strange. He got his game and then we ate. I don’t go to the mall often, so I got Sbarro’s pizza since, to me, that is quintessential mall food going back to my memories as a kid. Donnie got a Charley’s steak sandwich. Donnie is very good at keeping up conversation and telling things he is thinking and doing and good at asking questions. I always enjoy that. We also went to Hot Topic since he likes that store. We still had time to kill before the movie so I took him to Barnes & Noble to look at books and the toys. He got a cookie. With still more time left we went to HobbyTown USA. I wanted to create memories just like I had as a kid and going to the hobby store with my Dad. It wasn’t the same as I remembered it. It even moved locations a few stores down. It seemed depressed and marginalized and not the lively place it once once. I think I have changed a lot since I was really into hobbies like that. We even got to the movie early and talked some more. The movie was good. I really enjoyed this evening with my son.
