Showing Arthur Wequiock Falls

Don Krumpos · Diary

Yesterday we went to get pumpkins with Arthur at the apple orchard in Luxemburg. Jody came along. It was so cute watching Arthur pull his cart and load it full of pumpkins. We got a lot and we bought some apples and carmeled apples too. Arthur had fun picking apples and running through the orchard and pumpkin patch. We decided to eat lunch at The Settlement, since it was the last day it was open as the old owner just died. I have memories of going there with Dad when we would work on projects and need a break. We then went to Wequiock Falls and I got to show Erin and Arthur that place, that was special to me as a child, for the very first time. Some things are different, such as the spiral rocks near the falls, and all the graffiti in the tunnel. It was fun to see Arthur love crawling on the rocks and his curiosity with this gorge. We also drove to Red Banks, and I showed Jody and Erin some of my childhood memory areas, and we stopped at the little beach park that is a Town park for Scott. Arthur loved running on the beach there and collecting rocks and shells.

We got COViD shortly after this :(
