Monster Trucks at the Fair
Tonight we went to the Kewaunee County Fair. I painted and finished the mushroom mural on the Flower Shop wall, and we got to the Fair about 4. We first visited the animal barns and I liked watching Arthur look at them. He doesn’t try to stay close to us and trie to do the opposite of what we tell him, but I still think he is the cutest little guy. We then got some hamburgers for dinner while a band starting playing covers of Brooks and Dunn songs that Erin and I both knew from the 1990s and Erin said, we were born country and it is hard to take it out of us. The midway started to fill up and get busier and we played a board game at our table. We then went on some rides and Arthur loved them. It was fun to see him have fun on those. He favorite was the crazy house. We got some ice cream and a funnel cake and brought it into the grand stand to watch the Monster Truck show. We didn’t know it was tonight, and we were lucky, because Arthur has been into monster trucks a lot lately. He plays with his little ones a lot and makes roars and rumbles with them. He really liked to see them live and jump over the ramps. We left a little early and Arthur got to go on a couple more rides and we left as dusk was setting in.
