We went to take the kids to Sunday School but when we got there, found out there wasn’t any. It was nice (60’s) but cool and looks like rain. I cleaned house today and the kids played. I went to work for 4:00 p.m. and the children went to Grandma’s. Tomorrow is Memorial Day.

Today was really cold. We had light frost last night. I planted some peas and beans in the garden and mowed a little lawn. I was pretty tired from working so hard yesterday. Donny and Helen went by Grandma’s because I had to work at 6:30.
